Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- is the theatrical compilation and prelude to the TV anime series by Sunrise and Studio Khara with screenplay by Yoji Enokido and Hideaki Anno who both worked on Evangelion.

The series is set in an alternate timeline of the Universal Century/UC where the Principality of Zeon won the One Year War. The story takes place five years after that and follows the story of Amate Yuzuriha, an ordinary high school girl who participates in underground mobile suit duels.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray contains a special booklet and special disc with video clips of commercials and trailers.
