    For those of us who are not natural cooks and resort to using the microwave for 90% of all our cooking, not to worry because now you can also enjoy freshly cooked rice from your microwave as well. Cooking Instructions It is very easy to use. First, put one cup of white rice into the unit, measuring with the included measuring cup, then wash it repeatedly with clean water. (If it's Japan-style short-grain rice it'll be covered with an edible grain product around the rice that needs to be completely washed away.) Put the inner stopper and outer lid over the cooker and microwave for 13 minutes at 500 watts. (Less or more time may be required depending on your oven's power.) Let stand for 15 minutes, then eat!
