  • Japanese Shrine Best Ranking 208
This is a great "Mook" (cross between a magazine and a book, e.g. a softcover photobook with perfect binding) that shows Japan's best shrines. It has everything you need to know about the best shrines in Japan from the top shrines that will give you a happy wedding life to shrines that will make your career successful. Even if you don't have any particular wish, it's still nice to go to these shrines because they're full of history and look really amazing (tons of photos are included for you to see). Unfortunately, this is Japanese language only but the shrines' names have furigana (takes only about a couple of hours to learn) so you can easily know the names of the shrines. All sorts of shrines are in this mook including world famous shrines such as Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto and Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima, plus lesser known shrines with interesting aspects like the Karube Shrine also known as the oppai shrine because the ema (wishing boards) have breasts attached to them. A great publication for those planning to visit Japan.
